The Estey Piano Company was a quality maker of fine pianos and organs established in the year 1865.  They were known for their quality, workmanship and fine materials.  The Estey company  received numerous gold medals and awards for the high quality of its pianos in construction, beauty of tone and the refinements of its cabinets.

This Estey upright piano was sold new in 1915 from the Estey Piano Center City showrooms at 17th and Walnut Streets in Philadelphia, PA.  It was sold to a family on the main line Wayne, PA where it remained in the original family until the passing of the owners when the piano was left to the owner's church.  Upon closing of the church, we purchased the piano and restored it to its original grandeur as follows:

We refinished the cabinet in the original stain and colors as when new.  We restored the interior with a new set of French dampers, replaced the bridles with a full new set, resurfaced the hammers, replaced the keyboard felts.  Also, all keys were replaced with new and overall restored this classic piano as new.

This quality piano will outlast and outperform all mass market pianos that flood the stores today.
